The Associate of Science in Performing Arts is designed to give students the widest chance for success by giving them the broadest base from which to achieve.

Students get to understand the derivation of today's music and theatre scenes by looking at their respective histories, studying their underlying theories and examining the way these fields operate today.

But the Performing Arts major also allows students to begin to specialize towards performance, operations or management. The program is designed to transfer to many four-year programs with a number of specializations.

The degree requirements demonstrate how a common core unites these areas and then allows for individual student interests. Students are encouraged to become involved with club activities that support their development toward success in the arts.
