Biology 12 Competency Measure -

Successfully Complete and Email One (1) Web Exercise to an Instructor

Allied Health Program: Program Outcome 4 - Demonstrate basic computer skills and competence utilizing the Internet for solving problems.

Directions:  Utilizing the Biology 11 or Biology 12 Websites (accessed through the Biology Department Website (choose Web Courses), student  choose one problem, complete required Internet research, write our the questions and prepare their answers to each question in Word or another word processing program, and send the completed report as an email attachment to their instructor.

Emailed reports are graded according to the following criteria and the score, with comments, are emailed back to the student by the instructor. Reports are kept as computer files by the instructor.

This assessment is graded according to the following criteria.  Passing grade is 70%.
