Biology 12 Competency Measure -

Evaluation of Student Oral Reports on AIDS Term Project

Allied Health Program: Program Outcome 6 - Demonstrate understanding of the scientific literature related to allied health fields through presentations of findings in written form AND to an audience.

Directions:  In laboratory class, students, per table, are asked to organize into groups that will report on aspects of AIDS.  Each student is assigned a different organ system to evaluate for AIDS-induced pathology.  Individual written reports are submitted and each student participates in an oral report covering all aspects of AIDS.

Student individual oral reports are graded according to the following criteria.  Passing grade is 70%.
