Julia Furay is a Reader Services Librarian as well as the Archives Librarian. She is the faculty liaison to the Departments of Communications and Performing Arts (excluding music). She is part of the Opening Doors Learning Communities (ODLC) at Kingsborough and she acts as the Kingsborough liaison to CUNY's Library Information Literacy Advisory Committee (LILAC). She is a member of the Library Association of the City University of New York (LACUNY).
