 Cecilia Salber

Acquisitions and Collection Development Librarian

Cecilia Salber is a Readers Services Librarian and the Acquisitions and Collection Development Librarian.  She is the faculty liaison to the Departments of Biology, Communications and Performing Arts, English, Foreign Languages, and to the Women’s Studies Advisory Board.  She is part of the Opening Doors Learning Communities (ODLC) at Kingsborough.  She is a member of the CUNY  Libraries’ Acquisitions Committee, and of the Library Association of New York (LACUNY) Acquisitions Roundtable, and the LACUNY Collection Development Roundtable.  She is a member of Kingsborough’s Awards Committee.  Before coming to the Kingsborough Library in 1996, she was a librarian at Newsweek magazine for 25 years.
