I joined the KCC Community Health Department family, as Adjunct Professor, in 1996. I regularly teach: COH 11 / COH 12 / COH 20 / HPE 12 & HE 14.
I have earned my Master's Degree in Community Health Administration from Brooklyn College in June 1996. I graduated in January 1991 with a Bachelor of Science in Health Science from Brooklyn College; I also hold an Associate of Science degree in Environmental Health Science from Kingsborough Community College (Class of ’89).
Concomitant to KCC, and since since 1993, I am currently the Assistant Director of Surgical Service in Coney Island Hospital (CIH / HHC). With Previous experience: 5 years served as the Assistant Director of the Training & Development Dept. (CIH) / 15 years as the Senior Public Health Educator at Governor D&TC (HHC) / 3 years of Cancer research Experience (Southwest minority based CCOP consortium / MD Anderson).
In addition, I’m also certified as an HIV Pre/Post test counselor, CPR / BCLS instructor, and Pediatric “Denver II”-Developmental Screener.
