OFFICE OF COMMUNICATIONS & GOVERNMENT RELATIONS (A-228, EXT. 6760)
The Office of Communications & Government Relations serves as the official branding and marketing voice of the college, promoting positive and consistent images for internal and external audiences. The office provides college news, information, access to subject matter experts, and information about college-wide events that positively endorse its mission. From communications strategies that include public relations, marketing and advertising, to government and legislative affairs, social media and non-technical website management, as well as creative (graphic design), editorial, and production services, the office directs these efforts to effectively communicate with the public and college community.

Multimedia.The department will continue to use a variety of communication methods to reach the public which includes prospective and current students, parents, supporters, and the media, among others through an expanding social media presence, an enhanced website, as well as advertising and marketing campaigns.
Creative & Design Services. Print Production & Support. Photographic Services.
The department provides creative in-house design services for the college campus that include, editorial, multimedia, photography (as available),
and production in coordination with campus initiatives and events, and assures compliance with college and CUNY graphic identity policies, guidelines,
and requirements. All designs, and the majority of the printing and production services, are completed on our campus.
Video Production & Photographic Services
Government Relations & Civic Engagement plays a critical role in working to strengthen the college’s relationships
at all levels of government and with the community. Government Relations serves as the College’s official liaison, and is the first line in communicating with elected and
appointed government officials. In collaboration with the City University of New York, the Office coordinates advocacy efforts for the University's legislative agenda,
promotes civic engagement among the college community, and organizes events that directly engage government officials in the life of the College.
NOTE: Faculty and staff seeking to engage elected and other political officials regarding appearances, or funding
requests must do so in collaboration with the Government Affairs Office.
